Aloha everyone! My name is Shaneika Aguilar and I am a Filipino-American photographer and filmmaker born and raised on the island of Oʻahu, Hawaii. In the work that I do, I find myself at the crossroads of many worlds—weddings, advertising, music, social advocacy, documentaries, and indie films.

It's a life that takes me on adventures far and wide, which is what I cherish most about my profession. Every day presents a new chapter to film, from the intimate celebrations of love to powerful stories of social change. With every world that I enter, I have a deep commitment to storytelling. The stories I share serve as a common ground for diverse audiences to connect, empathize, and celebrate what makes us fundamentally human. It’s a privilege and a responsibility that I hold dear, using the medium of film to create a more compassionate and interconnected world. ‍
